I have only the best to say about Doug's photography as well as his personality. I discussed with Doug my ideas for candid pictures about a month before the wedding. He also has a list of standard shots he normally takes with every wedding. He was very open to my ideas and we received all the shots we asked for. Some of the best shots were the ones we didn't ask for, the candid's. Doug is very creative, and we were surprised at how beautiful he made two camera-shy people appear! He arrived early the day of the wedding and was very non-intrusive during the course of the day. My family and friends really liked him, which made the event even more enjoyable. You certainly don't want someone who is going to be rude and bark orders on your wedding day. Our proof album was ready when my husband and I returned from our honeymoon, and Doug even helped me with the layout for the wedding album. Since all of the proofs were really good, I had a hard time choosing which ones to put in the wedding album! One other thing I want to let you know is that I'm glad I spent a little extra money on the photography expenses for our wedding. I was a little worried at first that we were putting too much money into pictures, but I can tell you that all wedding photographers are not alike. The better photographers take better pictures, and I would much rather have pictures that I will want to look at 20 years from now instead of ones that I wish I had thrown away!
